RHP564 was a WORKS press and demonstrator car. This fact is recognised in Bill Piggotts book ‘Triumph By Name’. As such this is a very rare and highly desirable piece of Standard Triumph history.
This is a beautifully restored car. Completed several years ago to a very high standard. The door gaps and paint finish are exceptional. The chassis is 100% perfect and the car presents as beautifully underneath as she does on the visible exterior panels.
The hood and sidescreens are also perfect.
RHP564 has also received a complete retrim in red leather. This has been completed to a concours standard.
The car sits on steel wire wheels and has the correct drum brakes all around. The gearbox benefits from overdrive which operates swiftly and correctly.
On the road RHP564 behaves impeccably. The road holding and handling are absolutely as they should be. The engine is punchy and very responsive befitting such a sports car. On a recent road test by Classic Cars magazine the car was described as ‘faultless’.
A stunning all around car with substantial history that represents a piece of TR history and a great investment
