Jaguar MkVII 1952
The Mark VII was introduced at the 1950 Earls Court Motor show to great acclaim. It was the first Jaguar saloon to feature the legendary XK 6 cylinder twin cam engine in the 3.4litre capacity.
The marketing of the Mark VII focused on the strap line ‘grace, pace and space’ and fitted with the 3.4 litre XK engine this was and is a very appropriate way of describing these great cars.
This vehicle has had a fully documented nut and bolt rebuild and presents with the perfect blend of magnificent bodywork and largely original interior. The engine is the correct one for the car and this has been refreshed and mated to the correct 4 speed gearbox working as it should
As a package it is hard to imagine a better combination that is presented by car which also retains its original Coventry registration HKW317.
A truly wonderful car
