The Jaguar series 3 XJ12 is an incredibly rare car. The end of the V12 production was 1997 and this 1995 6 litre car is one of only a handful available today. Arguably one of the most significant engines in motoring history the V12 powered race, sports and executive cars from 1971 until the final XJ12 rolled off the production line in April 1997 to be replaced by the V8.

As such being so rare in surviving numbers this car is a highly collectible now and the value will surely only appreciate when presented in this condition, used and preserved.

M43XEO was MOT’d in December 2025 and has just 106k miles on the odometer. For this 6 litre V12 that is barely running in miles. However additional to that and very important is the fact this car comes from a most discerning collection and fastidious owner who has actually owned this car 2 tines! As with many enthusiasts we regret selling cars sometimes and that was the case here. The opportunity came to own the car again and he shouldn’t have because he has too many cars BUT he couldn’t help himself.

Repurchased in 2024 and then subject to many thousands of £ mechanical upgrading all fully documented in the substantial history file. I am working with the client to finally slim down his collection and the XJ12 is for sale again but still being used regularly by the owner. Mechanical fettling aside the car presents in excellent condition with superb bodywork and driving as new. There is wear to the drivers seat bolster that will require attention but that aside the car is excellent.
