What makes it even more interesting is the fact it is a matching numbers car that retains its original chassis ,engine and gearbox although an overdrive unit has been fitted as part of a fast road Broadsport specification. The original gearbox stays with the car.

We have restored the car returning the XK to its correct BRG colour and adding matching body coloured wire wheels to make a most striking and attractive car. The engine has been refreshed and mated to twin 2” SU carburettors for fast road balanced and lightened performance. Gearbox is Jaguar 4 speed with overdrive for 90mph 3000 rpm cruising. Running gear is all refreshed and brakes are uprated to discs on the front.

Inside the cabin the pedal box has been extended and bucket seats fitted. A good fit for a person under 6ft. We can alter the pedal box further for taller drivers. Roof lining, carpets and all trim are new. The wood has also been refreshed to give a really stunning interior.
