Description
Throughout the 1950’s the stunning XK led the sportscar offering from Jaguar. The XK150 was the final iteration before the arrival of the E Type. As the end of run for the XK the triple 2” SU carburettor set up that would adorn all E Types was installed into 3. 4 & 3. 8 litre engines and were called ‘S’. This end of run bought a substantial 40bhp uplift from the standard XK150 to 250bhp. That’s a big uplift in power and driving this original S you can feel the power. What a car. Our original ‘S’ is beautifully restored matching numbers UKRHD in its correct colours. It has power steering and bucket seats to uplift the driving pleasure (original seats with the car). The car was nut and bolt restored many years ago but you wouldn’t guess that. The bodywork is without fault and the paint is the same. The trim has a virtually concours appearance with the attention to detail worthy of a concours entrant. The hood is perfect too. In conclusion this car is everything a discerning enthusiast would want from an XK. Supplied with fully documented history file and JDHT coming from long term ownership and supplied with an engine warranty. As good as it gets.
